Matthieu Delormeau attacks Raymond Aabou live on “TPMP” and asks him to “not fall on Pierre Palmade”

“He has nothing to do in prison!” This Monday, February 27, Patrick Balkany, ex-mayor of Levallois-Perret, convicted of tax evasion, was talked about for his statement live on NEWS about the Pierre Palmade affair. Indeed, for the politician, the 54-year-old artist should not go to prison. And this even if he is the author of a dramatic car accident, which occurred on Friday, February 10, while driving under the influence of cocaine. This Tuesday, February 28, the columnists of “TPMP” wanted to debate on the subject and the debate gave rise to a big clash between Matthieu Delormeau and Raymond Aabou.

The second reacted to the interview with Patrick Balkany: “Who goes to prison then? Nobody? If someone who takes drugs and drives knowing that he is drugged and under medication, kills people, for me it is voluntary homicide and not manslaughter”. Raymond Aabou continues and explains: “If he doesn’t go to jail, no one does. It’s always easy when it doesn’t happen to you. To say ‘no he shouldn’t go to jail’ is always easy. Because it doesn’t didn’t happen to you”. The columnist also gave the example of a relative, who caused the death of a person after a car accident and did not go to prison. A situation that he still does not understand today.

Matthieu Delormeau, not in agreement with Raymond Aabou, he lets him know

But Raymond’s version did not really convince Matthieu Delormeau. “I’ve been watching the show for three days and it’s been three days and for me it’s limited. There, the opinion makes the jurisdiction. We’ve been at the Balto for three days with you”. The host of “TPMP People” criticizes his colleague in particular for not considering Pierre Palmade as “sick”. Because, for Raymond, to be ill is to be “affected by cancer, the flu,…”. Nevertheless “all psychiatrists assure that addictology, neurology, psychiatry… if there are centers, it means that there are diseases. An alcoholic is sick, a depressive is sick” defended Matthieu Delormeau.

The host of “TPMP People” continued to attack his colleague, stating that “pre-trial detention is if there is a crime”and for the moment, as far as Pierre Palmade is concerned, “there is no crime”. “So stop being Balto and say ‘I have a friend who has…’ it’s not ‘I have a friend who has’ justice, there is a penal code”, finally concluded Matthieu Delormeau, still very upset. Seeing that he could not convince his counterpart, the ex-host of the “NRJ12 Magazine” even swung at him: “You drove drunk for ten years! You were lucky”. With this argument, the columnist wanted to make Raymond understand that he was not in the best position to “fall on Pierre Palmade”.
