(Winnipeg) Mason Appleton is back with the Winnipeg Jets. The organization repatriated the Kraken forward from Seattle in exchange for a fourth-round pick in 2023.

The 26-year-old forward from Green Bay, Wisconsin has scored six goals and 11 assists in 49 games with the Kraken this season. He had been claimed by the new National Hockey League team in the expansion draft.
The Jets selected Appleton in the sixth round, 168and in total, in the 2015 amateur draft.
He played his first 138 NHL games with the Jets, scoring 20 goals in three seasons.
