Marlowe by Neil Jordan | François Arnaud tours with Liam Neeson and Jessica Lange

Eight years after the end of the series The Borgias, François Arnaud reconnected with filmmaker Neil Jordan on the set of the film Marlowe in which he rubs shoulders with Liam Neeson, Jessica Lange, Diane Kruger and Danny Huston.

The film tells the story of Philip Marlowe (Liam Neeson), a private investigator whose career is in decline. But one day, it takes a new turn when a woman comes to ask for his help to find an ex-lover. This quest hides a much more important one.

Marlowe is a period film set in Hollywood in the 1930s, François Arnaud said Monday during promotional interviews for the film. Goodbye happiness by Ken Scott. I play a kind of “wannabe” who dreams of being an actor and ends up being a props. But… he’s a gangster props! I wear a small mustache and a lot of hats. (laughs)

Just last week, Arnaud was on the set of this film in Barcelona. It is for this reason that he was not on the trip of the team ofGoodbye happiness in the Magdalen Islands where it was presented in preview.

“For Marlowe, I still have a few more shooting days to go to Dublin,” he says. I don’t have a huge role in the film, but my character is very important. ”

Mr. Arnaud is above all very happy to reconnect with Neil Jordan, the creator of The Borgias, a television series in which he had one of the main roles with Jeremy Irons.

“It’s great to work with these people,” he says of Liam Neeson et al. And it’s great to find Neil (Jordan) who had a very caring presence in my life. I realize this more and more. Eight years after the Borgias, I realize how much of a part of his movie family I am. ”

This film does not yet have a release date. We should also remember thatGoodbye happiness will be in theaters on December 17th across Quebec.
