Faced with the temptation of “neither-nor” which animates the Macronist camp in the event of a New Popular Front-National Rally duel in the second round of the legislative elections, Marine Tondelier, patron of the Ecologists, addresses the center and the right in a letter published Wednesday June 26.

Preventing Jordan Bardella from having the majority to govern, in other words doing everything to limit the number of National Rally deputies in the next Assembly, is the priority that Marine Tondelier has been hammering out for 48 hours. “If we are in third position and we risk electing someone from the extreme right, we will withdraw,” said the national secretary of the Ecologists on BFMTV.

Marine Tondelier also wishes to contact the leaders of the main groups in the presidential camp to ask them “eye to eye why they don’t differentiate between the extreme right and the left”. The head of EELV sent a letter on Wednesday June 26 to the representatives of the different parties of the presidential majority, to question them on their choice in the event of a duel against the RN in the second round. A letter to which François Bayrou, president of MoDem, refuses to respond: “If we want to win, we don’t bring up this kind of hypothesis”he believes.
