Asked about the affair of fictitious jobs in the European Parliament, the former FN MEP Jean-Luc Schaffhauser confirms it in an interview given to “Complément d’Enquête” on October 27, 2022: the president of the party Marine Le Pen had been alerted to the illegal nature of the system it was putting in place.
It was with his help that the National Front had been able to borrow 9 million euros in Russia… After the distribution of a document on Putin’s networks in France, Tristan Waleckx received in “Complement of the investigation” the man of the Russian secrets of the FN, the former deputy Jean-Luc Schaffhauser.
In this extract, J.-L. Schaffhauser, FN MEP from 2014 to 2019, is questioned about a problematic legal case for Marine Le Pen: that of fictitious jobs in the European Parliament. And more precisely on this exchange of June 2014 with the treasurer of the party which was still called the National Front: “What Marine asks of us is equivalent [à ce] that we sign for fictitious jobs, and it is the deputy who is criminally responsible on his own funds, even if the party is the beneficiary”, he had written to him in an email. To which the treasurer, Wallerand de Saint -Just, had replied: “I believe that Marine knows all that.”
