“There is also the path of testimony from other women. Chloé, who also accuses Damien Abad of rape, does not wish to file a complaint. The judicial authorities cannot therefore identify him. And the prosecution believes that it is impossible “to proceed with his detailed hearing.”

Margaux, who had testified on franceinfo, filed a complaint twice, in 2012 and 2017. Her complaints were dismissed. The first time because she had not gone to the end of the process, the second because the offense was deemed insufficiently characterized.

She can file a new complaint, this time with a civil action, which would automatically open the way to a new investigation. She explains this Friday to franceinfo that she is considering this possibility: “But it’s not really something that appeals to me. I wish I could avoid it”she confides, believing “have already fulfilled their duty as a sorority and as a citizen and have suffered enough”. And to conclude: “However, I do not exclude it from my consideration.”
