Like every year the military parade will take place on the Champs Elysees. Many restrictions and prohibitions are taken around the places of the official ceremony of the July 14th in Paris.
Many closures near the Champs Elysées
In the Champs Elysées area, Traffic will be restricted between 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.. Several checkpoints will be set up in the adjacent streets.
Several stations of subway and of RERCharles-de-Gaulle Étoile, George V, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Champs-Élysées Clemenceau, Concorde, Tuileries, will also be closed by security measures.
The Trocadéro sector closed in the evening
In the evening, due to Champs de Mars concert and fireworks, security perimeters will be established from 3 p.m., particularly in the Motte Picquet and Quai Branly sectors. From 7 p.m., many axes around the Trocadero will also be restricted.
The resorts of subway and of RER Champs-de-Mars Eiffel Tower, Passy, and Pont de l’Alma will be closed from 3 p.m.. Other stations, Trocadero, Bir-Hakeim, Alma-Marceau, military school, will be from 7 p.m.
Important safety feature
An important security device will be put in place in Paris and in the inner suburbs on this occasion. In total, almost 12,000 police, gendarmes and firefighterswill be mobilized for the evening of July 14.
