Manuel Valls “calls for a sanitary cordon around La France insoumise”Sunday October 15 on franceinfo. “There can be no alliance or first or second round” of the presidential election with the party, adds the former Prime Minister of François Hollande. For him, “we need a political, moral, civic disqualification against him”.
The positions taken by La France insoumise (LFI) in the context of the conflict between Israel and Hamas confirm the ex-socialist in what he thinks of the movement. Thus, it is not “not surprised” by the refusal of certain Rebels to qualify as “terrorist” the Islamist organization. On the other hand, he“surprise that some people are surprised or question the nature of Jean-Luc Mélenchon and LFI”.

“All this is nothing new”, deplores the former figure of the right wing of the Socialist Party. For him, LFI is all the more “disqualified” what “supports the July rioters”after the death of Nahel in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), or even that she “welcomes the anti-Semitic Medina in its universities” summer.
Manuel Valls pretends to wonder. “How can we continue to participate in an alliance with this political force ? The question is rather ‘how were we able to build an alliance, if not for a few seats of deputies with Jean-Luc Mélenchon and his friends?’ It’s a political and moral trap that the PS has put itself into.”he asserts.
