The tension is at its height, while the terrorist threat becomes more and more present. Anti-French slogans are more and more numerous in Bamako. For several months, France has been reducing its workforce. 5,000 soldiers are deployed in Mali and in neighboring countries, there will soon be only 2,500. Fewer men and fewer bases, in the north of the country, three of them have closed. In the war against terrorism, the authorities recognize, France cannot win alone.
