Conserve our clean energy
I don’t like the fact that Hydro-Quebec is selling our clean energy to the United States in the face of the prospect of a power shortage in Quebec in the future. Let’s keep our energy for ourselves and to face the electrification of our society and, as a result, reduce our environmental footprint.

maintain health
I would like to keep this wonderful health that life has given me. So let’s go for more physical activity, less food abuse, more fruits and vegetables. Without forgetting the culture necessary for my mental health and, of course, a lot of love to give and to receive. The essential ingredient for my balance.

Conserve our environment
I would like to conserve and improve all our wetlands, our forests, the animal species that are on the verge of extinction. To achieve this, beautiful promises are not enough. We must tackle it now, it is urgent! Biodiversity is the fabric of the planet. What will the lives of our grandchildren be like, what air will they breathe if our elected officials do not act quickly?

Maintain telework
Telecommuting should be maintained. And encourage it through tax measures for businesses. Because it is a real ecological measure. Quickly fewer cars on the roads. And a measure of public health through a better quality of life.

Retain our volunteers
In order to improve and humanize the services offered to homeless people, I would like to keep my volunteers. These benevolent beings come back every week, rain or shine, with their smile, to provide listening, comfort, muffins and laughter. They serve them an excellent meal prepared by our friendly kitchen staff. These volunteers have had a career and now they have a busy family and social life, but they generously offer their time to help those most in need. Let’s keep and thank all the volunteers who, despite their rheumatism and between two babysitting sessions for their grandchildren, remain faithful to the post. Thanks to Lise, France, Yvon, Réal and Jean-Marc.

Keep my inner chills
Keep my little inner shivers, as in this old saying: “To live, we absolutely need to be in love, to laugh and to dream. When these little inner shivers are added which intensify the emotion and lead us beyond our usual achievements… it is euphoria. »

Conserve the forest and wetlands
For five years, I had the privilege and the chance, spring, summer and fall, to live and work in an isolated forest. Unfortunately, I saw the decline in the bird population, among other things. People are happy that there are fewer mosquitoes in the spring, but less mosquitoes means less food. Climate change is of course also responsible for the decline in biodiversity. It is imperative to protect our forests and our wetlands, by adding more protected areas and by exploiting the forest more sustainably, without clear cutting, as we still see too often here, in Quebec.

keep my zest for life
I want to keep my joie de vivre that was given to me by my parents when I was born. I come from a family of 15 children and this is the legacy that my parents gave us, this joie de vivre that we all have deep inside us. Especially in these difficult times for the whole earth, it is a very precious treasure that helps us to still see the beautiful things that life brings us and, above all, to enjoy them and to share them with the people who serve us. surround.

Keep the fun of playing outside
I would like to keep the pleasure of playing outside, of doing physical activity several times a week. With the fiftieth coming soon, my body and my head need to exercise, to pick up, to move. Running allows me to reduce my stress, to feel good in my body and above all to activate my system. I wish everyone to move more in 2023!

Conserve nature
We must preserve nature, because it is us and we are it. By destroying it, we impoverish ourselves. Even if we possessed all the riches presented to us in advertisements, we would become miserable by the titanic destruction that this material opulence demands.
