Make an outdoor torch

Emmanuel Grosbois, artist and gardener at the A Fleur d’Eau garden in Cherveux, details the creation of a homemade torch. He loves the magic of dancing flames, that’s good: so do we.

Listen again to see:

  • that piles of used containers are possible,
  • that we all have oil at home (including frying oil) which will do just fine
  • t that we can either buy the wick or do it ourselves with an old cotton sheet.

Ready for a summer in the light of the torch made by you? Be careful where you place it to avoid fires.

Plus: it can keep mosquitoes away.
