Vaccination centers against covid are gradually closing their doors in Drôme and Ardèche: there aren’t enough appointments made to keep them running.
Today, according to the Regional Health Agency (ARS) we realize less than 6,000 injections per week altogether in the Dromeit’s five times less than at the height of the epidemic.
The centers are therefore closing gradually, this Monday, on the side Dromethis is the case for those of die and Romans-sur-Isere. In March, it will be the turn of Saint-Vallier, Nyons and Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux. The others: Valence, Portes-lès-Valence and Montélimar, remain open but reduce their slots. They will keep a permanence one or two days a week.
End of the eventual pass and complete vaccination schedules
This decline in attendance is due to the fact that the vaccination pass could be canceled in 15 days. Furthermore, 88% of Drôme residents and 87% of Ardéchois received at least one dose. In addition, the very numerous contaminations due to the Omicron variant in December and January enabled many people to complete their vaccination schedule without needing a 3rd dose.
In ArdecheBesides, of the eleven mobile centers and teams, six in total will be closed. Those of Lamastre, Privas, Annonay, Aubenas, Vallon Pont d’Arc and Saint-Martin-de-Valamas will remain open, but also with very reduced slots.
Don’t worry, if you still need to get vaccinated and the nearest center closes its doors: it will still be possible with doctors of town and the pharmacists.
