It was under the coaching of his son that Pascal Dusserey won the regional competition for the best croissant for the South Aquitaine area on 21 April. Competition organized as every year by the Regional Bakery Federation.
“The student has surpassed the master” admits Pascal more than proud. It should be noted that Nathan is only 16 years old and not being an adult he could not compete. And yet it is he who provides the pastries at Maison Pachena de Pissos. And what a pastry! Watch out, this is a colorful pastry.
But of course it was the classic butter croissant that was rewarded for its perfect execution. To judge for yourself, all you have to do now is take the road to Pissos!
For Nathan, croissants, like chocolatines, come in color and taste. Chocolate, raspberry, pistachio and of course natural for the purists. Hundreds of pastries come out of the oven on weekends. And then did not believe that this young full of talent stops there! He offers other specialties such as his passion fruit “Cruffin”, a favorite at the tasting for Circuit Bleu Côté Saveurs. By re-listening to the show, Nathan explains his love for his profession, which he is still learning, and details his surprising and delicious specialities.
See you now in October in Paris for the Dusserey Pascal family in mind. He will defend the colors of the Landes croissant accompanied by Nathan who will not let go of him to get a victory for his dad in the National Competition for the Best Croissant. Fingers crossed!
