Music has a spiritual dimension for Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt. Particularly that of Chopin, which he highlights in the adaptation of his novel Madame Pylinska and Chopin’s secreta musical show which made its debut on Quebec soil Monday evening, in Quebec.


“It is with you that I will discover the reaction of the Quebec public,” mentions the Belgian author in an interview with The sun, a few hours before the show. Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt wrote Madame Pylinska and Chopin’s secret while simultaneously working on the stage adaptation.
