Luna Skye victim of “several pathologies” after having been close to death: the aftermath of her ordeal

She thought she could erase a complex without difficulty by having recourse to HYAcorp injections, in order to have a more curved buttocks without having to resort to cosmetic surgery. But his life turned into a real nightmare soon after. A calvary on which Luna Skye confided in SHE.

The 26-year-old former reality TV contestant lost a lot of weight last spring. Not feeling well in her body and not having the strength to get back to sport, she opted for HYAcorp after meeting a famous surgeon known in the world of reality TV. He had just injected one of his friends and had more product than expected. So he told her about his method, the explanations that convinced Luna Skye to take action. “I understand that it is a quick, invasive, perfect solution to recover the curve of my buttocks. I don’t see the danger. They don’t explain it to me either. I don’t sign any papers. I am not told about side effects or possible complications. On the contrary, I am promised a risk-free intervention“, she explained to SHE.

Thus, the former companion of Paga was injected 40 syringes per buttock, for the sum of 7,500 euros. A result she was pleased with. Corn one month after surgery, Luna Skye began to feel adverse effects. She indeed felt “from pain all over the body“, abnormal fatigue, then red spots on the buttocks. Worried, she called her surgeon who prescribed her antibiotics because he said she had erysipelas (a bacterial infection characterized by inflammation of the skin). But her infection kept coming back when she stopped treatment, once back in Los Angeles (where she lives). To this was added a “high fever for several days“.

I was going back and forth to the hospital. Most of the time I passed out in the parking lot. I remember waking up in the OR with several screaming doctors. I heard: ‘Put her more morphine’, and on the other side: ‘She’s already maxed out, we’re switching to ketamine.’ It was a nightmare. When I woke up, I thought I was dead“, continued Luna Skye who developed sepsis. The doctors unfortunately did not know how to cure her. She had thus become their guinea pig. And over time, she ended up becoming dependent on painkillers.

Luna Skye rescued in France

Luna Skye ended up being repatriated to France last December, after three months of hospitalization and a stay in intensive care. She was admitted to Tenon Hospital in a sorry state. “When I arrived, I was malnourished, my muscles were atrophied. I could no longer sit or walk. I was a textbook case for this specialist. I underwent a first operation where he placed cannulas to break the hyaluronic acid balls. Unfortunately, there were still residues. It took a second operation in intensive service. Today, I have six large locks on each side of my buttocks. It is a system that allows nurses to perform irrigations and lavages“, she clarified.

The nightmare ended at the end of January, with his release from the hospital. She stressed that the doctor who treated her saved her life. If she is a priori out of trouble, this nightmare has had consequences on Luna’s daily life. In addition to seeing her deformed body, she has “developed several pathologies“.”JI became agoraphobic for example. I have many anxiety attacks. I have to do rehabilitation to relearn how to walk. If I talk about it today, it’s so that it doesn’t happen again. As an influencer, I have a duty of transparency“, she concluded.
