Second of the siblings after Enzo, Luca Zidane (23) chose the position of goalkeeper and he has been playing for Rayo Vallecano for two years, a mid-table club in the first division. The time has come to make a name for myself”says the big brother of Elyaz and Théo.
Luca Zidane knows that with a surname like his, he will be expected wherever he goes. “With the name I have, it’s a bit complicated. Critics come faster”he explains, before mentioning another well-known “son of”: “Marcus Thuram (note, son of Lilian Thuram) is in the same situation as me, it is an example to follow. To make my own professional career, I need a club that recruits Luca more than Zidane”.
