The CAQ, the PLQ and the PCQ all promise a tax cut if they come to power next October.
However, the needs of our Quebec society are immense: the increase in home care for our seniors, the addition of personnel in CHSLDs and hospitals, the increased contribution of school transportation for our children, the repair of schools that are falling apart, to name a few. Without forgetting the elephant in the room, the huge 180 degree turn that our society must take in order to face up to climate issues. All of these requirements deserve our attention and our tax revenue. However, our political parties have nothing better to do than to promise lower taxes with the hope of collecting more votes! The saying is we get the governments we deserve. Hoping that the majority of the population will not be fooled by these old promises from another era and that the vote will lead to the power of women and men with a vision of a better society for generations to come. .
