Loula Temsoury started rugby thanks to her height. “I was in college with a girl with whom I still play rugby, and whose father-in-law is a coach, says the young woman, and given my size, because I was already very tall at the time in third grade”, I was able to start second line. She now measures 1m77. This sport has, in a way, uninhibited him. “For once, my size wasn’t a problem. And precisely, it helped people, there, among other things, to help my team. It has a lot of advantages to be in the bigger ones” she smiled.
A great step in his life as in his career
His height has not only been an asset in his sport. She was also recently, when Loula Temsoury decided to participate in the Miss Corrèze contest, a contest in which she wanted to participate since her childhood. “Many relatives, many members of my family told me to do this kind of contest. It paid off because today I was elected Miss Corrèze” says the young Brive.
For her, this election is the desire to dispel prejudices. “What I love is already sharing the fact that I play rugby, since it breaks a little the codes, the prejudices, because often, when we tell people that we play rugby, we will surely be seen as a tomboy or we will not necessarily be seen as a woman or a young woman, whereas we can be quite the opposite.

The young woman has things to say. “Having already received remarks because of my muscles or something else, it is also important for me to show that, here, I was elected Miss Corrèze, so that means that a rugbywoman or a woman who plays, who does a sport, can also win this kind of election.”

A few rooms but a magnificent year 2022 for the young woman
This did not prevent a few chambers, when returning to the grounds of the CAB. “The day after the election, there were the CAB cadets playing their quarter-final against Toulouse. And it’s true that everyone chanted Miss Corrèze since I was in the stands. And it was quite funny” smiles Loula Temsoury. Likewise, in the field, it becomes a motivating factor for coaches. “During the matches too, they also shout at me ‘Miss Corrèze, you mustn’t get carried away’
And she wasn’t hurt. Moreover, Loula Temsoury talks about it today, this year, she seems to have been born under a beautiful star. “I played the weekend before the election, I scored a try. I had one of my best matches of the season. Then, the week after, I was elected Miss Corrèze The following Wednesday, I learned that I had my license since I had passed it on the Monday after the election. There are very good things happening and I am very happy about it.
In the first year of school and business management in Brive, she is waiting to know if she will go to second year, then will participate with Miss Creuse and Miss Haute-Vienne in the Miss Limousin election on October 1 next to maybe go in Châteauroux for the election of Miss France. But whatever happens, she says, Loula Temsoury will continue rugby in Brive.
