Louis Sarkozy recounts his student struggles like never before

It’s not just Nicolas Sarkozy who is a writer in his spare time, in the family… His youngest son, Louis, is also a future successful author. A few months after the release of his father’s “Time of Combat”, he released “Napoleon’s library: The Emperor, his books and their influence on the Napoleonic era, on May 30 in bookstores. The opportunity to finally talk a little about him to journalists, during the promotion. This is how in an interview with the Telegraph in the United Kingdom, Cecilia Attias’ son looked back on his life as a young adult.

“I went from the Elysée to a dirty barracks in Pennsylvania”

He, who was in a relationship with Capucine Anav, during his father’s presidential mandate, assures: I frequented the highest circles of political life. It was the most privileged, blissful, extraordinary experience imaginable, except I was too young to appreciate it. If I had been a few years older, I would have had a much clearer view of everything that was happening.”

Now married to Natali Husic, the man who opted for an education in the United States, remembers having swapped the splendor of the presidential palace for a male dormitory. he also assures our colleagues: “I went from the Elysée to a dirty barracks in Pennsylvania.” A valuable experience that he wanted to have thanks to the men who surrounded him during his childhood. Louis Sarkozy in fact states about the bodyguards, responsible for his security and that of his father:They were literally the best role models a child could hope for – well, for an insecure young boy like me, who liked military stuff.”

“They left an indelible mark on me

And to add: “These men are ex-military police officers responsible for protecting my family. I spent 24 hours a day with them, seven days a week, and it was great – they left an indelible mark on me and I owe my military vocation to them.”
