He is undoubtedly the one who stole the show from the monarch! Prince Louis, aged 4, did not seem to appreciate having to stay on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to greet the crowd of onlookers, on the occasion of the Trooping the Color parade, this June 2 in London. So much so that his mother, Kate Middleton, was forced to intervene.
Spotted in the morning watching the military parade – disturbed by demonstrators – from a window of the palace, Prince Louis seemed quite captivated by the ambient agitation. A few moments later, he could be found in a royal carriage, dressed in a symbolic outfit in a nod to his father Prince William, descending The Mall. No doubt a little tired in the long run, Prince Louis seemed grumpy, sulky when the royal family finally returned to the palace to go and greet the royal guard and the British from the balcony. The Queen made a first appearance, accompanied by the Duke of Kent, a cousin colonel of the Scots Guards, one of the elite regiments of the British Royal Guard. Then a second appearance with the rest of his clan.
