In the fairest of musical galas in Quebec, Lou-Adriane Cassidy, Lydia Képinski and P’tit Belliveau shone, the first by winning the Artist of the Year award, the following by collecting two Lucien awards each. In the Metal Album category, glory to BARF veterans for their album Wild region. The excellent group Choses Sauvages will leave with Lucien from the indie rock Album (for Wild Things II), while the indie rock EP prize will be awarded to Allô Fantôme. Elephant Stone collects the rock EP award for Mr. Lonely’s trip to the Moon, while that of the post-punk / post-rock Album or EP is given to the trio Yoo Doo Right for A Murmur, Boundless to the East, released last June.

In the folk department, Natasha Kanapé won the Lucien for best mini-album for Nui Pimuten, while that of the Folk Album goes to Mon Doux Saigneur for middle age. Country folk singer-songwriter Ben Claveau receives the Lucien de l’Album country, for his self-production The road is long to the top, and Les Tireux d’roches, that of the Trad project of the year for Tapiskwan Sipi.
