(Longueuil) An armed confrontation between several people that occurred early Monday morning in the garage of an apartment building in Longueuil left at least one injured.
The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) specifies that this person, a young man, was stabbed, but that his life was nevertheless saved.
The altercation occurred around midnight:30 in the building located on rue Toulouse, near the intersection of boulevard des Ormeaux, in the Vieux-Longueuil district. According to information obtained by SPAL police officers, three people were victims of the attack by an unknown number of people, who then fled.
At the start of the day, the police did not yet know whether the attackers and the victims knew each other. It appears the victims are all aged in their early 20s.
People who live outside the Longueuil metropolitan area were allegedly involved in this altercation, according to police.
Investigators and forensic identification technicians attended the scene of the attack to establish the circumstances.
