The police began their fourth day of searching on Monday in the hope of finding the 4-year-old girl who fell into the Mistassibi River, in Lac-Saint-Jean, on Friday afternoon.

The search was called off late Sunday evening for security reasons. On Monday, the Sûreté du Québec confirmed that the operation had resumed in the morning and that around twenty police officers were mobilized to find the little girl.
For this new day of research, divers will not be involved, it was clarified. The police will patrol the area and use a drone or even a helicopter.

Remember that the 4-year-old girl slipped with her mother near the Chute des Pères Motel in Dolbeau-Mistassini, around 2:30 p.m. Friday, before passing under the protective fence and falling into the water. His mother, who watched the scene helplessly, had to be taken to hospital to treat nervous shock.
