So much in agreement with the letter from Mr. Jean Fréchette about the noise of the leaf blowers. I believe he used the right way: to publish an open letter in your journal (Friday, October 15, 2021).
Because writing directly to the City of Montreal, as I did twice last May, is like throwing your email in the trash: no response, no acknowledgment of receipt. I complained, then, of the terrible noise made by this machine, one Sunday morning at Castor Lake, while families were playing there with their children, and small groups were trying to do exercises gently… The municipal employee taking pleasure in staying in one place for more than half an hour, we all moved elsewhere … So much zeal, well protected under protective headphones, is an obsession.
