Known for her brief stint in “Secret Story” and for her participation in “Marseillais”, Liam Di Benedetto now leads a peaceful and orderly family life. Married to a certain Christophe Dicranian, they are the happy parents of a little girl named Sharly who has just celebrated her first birthday. Liam, whose real name Léa is therefore the mother of two adorable little girls since her first daughter Joy, was born in May 2018. On social networks, the young woman confided several times on the health concerns of her eldest daughter who was born with a cyst in the brain which caused significant damage to her senses. Thus, at 4 years old, she has great difficulty walking and speaking, is visually impaired and grows much slower than other children.
“My heart is broken”This Monday, July 25, 2022, the mother of the family took the floor on Snapchat to give a new update on the health of little Joy. “I prefer to write it to you because I don’t have the strength to tell you. Joy has had hormonal check-ups. […] We realized that Joy has a thyroid problem,” she said. “The endocrinologist told me that Joy would have to take medication every day, for life. […] My poor baby. I collapsed, everything she endures at such a young age. I am heartbroken.” she continued.
After yet another medical appointment, Liam was able to find out more about certain details: “Joy is 18 months of bone age when she is 4 years old. […] I let you imagine my sadness. We’ll be there for her no matter what, it’s the flesh of my flesh. I will do everything to ease his pain.”
