They never stop dividing. Prime Minister Gabriel Attal announced, Wednesday March 13, that the level groups would be “Rule” on “at least three quarters of the year”and the single class “the very supervised exception”, as part of the “shock of knowledge” reform which is due to come into force next September. These groups concern the teaching of mathematics and French in sixth and fifth grades.

A few days ago, the Minister of Education, Nicole Belloubet, had announced a relaxation of this explosive measure, dear to Gabriel Attal, by promising that a “certain flexibility” would be left to the establishments, and without using the expression “level groups”.
