Letizia from Spain unsheathes the red thigh-high boots: sexy and colorful end-of-year look for the queen

Returning from her official trip to Sweden at the end of November, Letizia of Spain has resumed her royal engagements in Madrid. On December 9, 2021, the Queen visited CaixaForum to take part in UNICEF’s 75th anniversary. The opportunity for the wife of King Felipe VI to unveil a new winter look, which could well give outfit ideas for Christmas.

On her arrival, the queen was notably greeted by Gustavo Suarez, the president of UNICEF in Spain. True to her reputation as an expert in outfit recycling, the 49-year-old former journalist has brought out several strong pieces from her wardrobe: her red floral-patterned Carolina Herrera skirt, one of her favorite brands. Letizia from Spain also gave a second outing to its red high-heeled thigh-high boots from Magrit Shoes. For the rest, the queen balanced her colorful ensemble with a simple white turtleneck and a pair of hoops unearthed at Massimo Dutti.

The mother of Princesses Leonor and Sofia (16 and 14) has been multiplying colorful, feminine and sophisticated looks for several weeks. His trip to Sweden with King Felipe was the perfect opportunity to offer the Swedes a real parade (see slideshow). Somewhat cooled by winter in northern Europe, Letizia from Spain did not sacrifice her style: dazzling red dress and camel cape with fur collar, H&M gala dress and XXL diamond tiara, dress Prada neckline and pumps …

Will the King and Queen of Spain have the right to end-of-year celebrations for four? At the end of August, their eldest daughter Princess Leonor left the palace to continue her secondary education in Wales, at UWC Atlantic College. The teenager still returned in October to take part in the Princess of Asturias Awards. She should probably be entitled to a few days off to open her family Christmas presents.
