The Laval Rocket will be without the services of Lukas Vejdemo for the playoffs.

Injured in the April 16 game against the Cleveland Monsters, the 26-year-old forward underwent hamstring surgery at the Montreal General Hospital earlier this week. His recovery period is estimated at seven months, the Rocket said in a statement on Wednesday.
This means that he will be absent for the playoffs and perhaps even for the start of the next season.
A third-round pick in 2015, Vejdemo has 16 points in 34 games so far this season. He missed several games in February and March due to another injury.
Remember that the Canadian school club has officially qualified for the spring ball on April 24. It will be the first time he will take part since arriving in Laval in 2017-2018.
