Ukraine puts its title on the line in the 67th edition of the contest Eurovision. 26 countries will compete for victory at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool (UK). 46 years after the last tricolor victory in the European song contest, in 1977 with Marie Myriam and her title The bird and the child, France hopes to triumph this year with La Zarra. The Canadian singer, successor to the Breton group Alvan & Ahez who arrived at the 24th last year, will sing her hit Obviously at 9:39 p.m. sharp on France 2.

While she occupied third place in the bookmakers’ ranking last week, La Zarra was ejected from the top 5. A few hours before the broadcast of the show, the candidate from France now occupies sixth place in the latest bookmakers’ ranking. With a 2% chance of winning, it is overtaken by Israel (4%), Spain (5%), Ukraine (6%), Finland (22%), and Sweden (53%) .
