Large families: A candidate mother thanks to the PMA, she recounts her sometimes painful fight

Laetitia Provenchere is one of the newcomers to the new season of Large families, life in XXL. The young woman is the proud mother of Nolann (3 years old) and triplets, Emmy, Lyna and Noëlya (1 year old). From children born thanks to assisted reproduction (Medically assisted procreation) as she confided through a publication, April 4, 2022.

The mother of the family led a fight to be able to become a mother. She and her late husband Guillaume quickly knew they were made for each other. So they wanted to start a family. But Laëtitia Provenchère suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome, a hormonal disease that can lead to fertility disorders, hair loss (hirsutism), as well as metabolic complications. The couple therefore had no choice but to turn to PMA.

When we met Guillaume, it had already been several years since I only had my period 2 or 3 times a year.. The baby subject came up quickly because it was obvious to us 2. The verdict quickly fell, I suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome and luckily I have very few of the effects that this syndrome can cause. After a few months of examinations, the protocol is set up, we do several insemination trials, Guillaume manages to take a step back more than me, I live each month like a failure. I am lucky during these few months not to have any miscarriages and to be accompanied at each examination by a future super dad!!!“, first wrote Laëtitia Provenchère.

Barely a year after the start of the protocol, Laëtitia Provenchère is got pregnant with Nolann in 2017. Shortly after the birth, she and her husband again tried to have a child. An experience that went better morally for the mother: “For the triplets, we had the same luck, several months of trials that I experience differently because we already have Nolann, it changes the way I experience these trials a lot. I tell myself that I am already lucky enough to have a child and failures are much less painful.” Three years later, she again discovered good news. Or rather three since triplets have nested in her belly.
