Laetitia Casta and Louis Garrel presented their new film, The crusade – which deals with ecology and will be released on December 22 – on the set of Day-to-day. Faced with Yann Barthès, the parents of Azel (born in March 2021) indulged in a few small secrets about their couple. “Every time we see you together, it arouses a lot of comments, how do you experience this status of the model couple?”, asks the host of TMC. What Laetitia Casta responds to, in a joking tone: “I saw it very badly!”
“Model couple?”, wonders Louis Garrel. “Me, there are people who come to stop me in the street to ask me for a photo and they say to me: ‘Me, it is your woman that I adore’. And I answer them: ‘I agree, me. also I love it ‘”. Apparently very much in love with his wife, whom he married in 2017 in Corsica, the 38-year-old director made a pretty statement to him. As always, the guests of Yann Barthès must give the definition of their partner when they arrive on the set of Quotidien.
Taking the game very seriously, Louis Garrel spoke of Laetitia Casta in these terms: “Actress and powerful woman. Multi talented artist. She is lucky to never be conventional or scholar. This is in part due to her real human qualities. Her deep empathy for people and her generosity nourish the characters she embodies and gives them a human force that all actors hope to find in their work “. A definition that flattered his wife but also embarrassed her a little. “I made it shorter … am I lazy or what?”, did she have fun before sharing her definition of her husband: “Actor director. Passionate, fascinating. Spirited. Never where you expect him and always where we don’t expect him. Irresistibly funny and whose greatest quality is that he never sulks”.
As a reminder, Louis Garrel was in a relationship with Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, with whom he adopted Oumy in 2009 in Senegal. For her part, Laetitia Casta had love stories with Stefano Accorsi, with whom she had Orlando, 15 years old and Athena, 12 years old. With Stéphane Sednaoui, she had a daughter named Sahteene (20 years old).
