“After a few weeks of rehearsals with the team, the preparation and the work on the stage proved to be too demanding for Mathieu, specifies Tandem, the producer of the show, in a press release released Thursday. It is with great regret that he had to make this difficult decision to protect his mental and physical health. »
Joey Scarpellino joins a cast made up of Rémi-Pierre Paquin, Sébastien Leblanc, Patrick Emmanuel Abellard, Guillaume Rodrigue and Julie Ringuette. The new version of ladies night highlights the 20th anniversary of the first Quebec version of the play, which then starred Serge Postigo, Didier Lucien and Michel Charette, among others.
The show resumes on August 4 at the Théâtre Desjardins in LaSalle and will tour across Quebec until December. Performances are scheduled at the Théâtre Maisonneuve from September 29 to 1er October, but also in Sherbrooke, Gatineau, Trois-Rivières, Saguenay, Quebec and many other cities.
