Open
- Hospitals, pharmacies and some CLSCs (be careful, check the schedules) are open.
- Movie theaters are open. The Cinémathèque québécoise is open (two evening screenings).
- At the City of Montreal, the collections of waste, bulky items, residues and others are maintained except for that of green residues in Montreal-North (postponed to Tuesday 6).
- The ecocentres are open. The 311 service is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Certain cultural and sports facilities are open depending on the borough (see the website montreal.ca).
- The Biodôme, Insectarium, Botanical Garden and Planetarium are open.
- Convenience stores, restaurants, bars, bookstores, neighborhood grocery stores, gas stations are open for the majority.
- SAQ Express branches are open.
- Public transportation in Montreal and elsewhere in Quebec operates on a reduced schedule.
- The Montreal Science Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Pointe-à-Callière museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The McCord-Stewart Museum too. In Quebec, the National Museum of Fine Arts (MNBAQ) is open.
- The Granby Zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The casinos are open.
Closed
- All BAnQ establishments are closed.
- The Accès Montréal offices are closed, as are the permit counters, the municipal court and the administrative offices.
- SQDC and SAQ branches (except SAQ Express) are closed.
- Supermarkets, shops and shopping centers.
- Banks, credit unions and post offices.
- Government services including passport offices.
- The Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montreal are closed on Mondays.
- The Montreal Tower is still closed for renovations.
