The Iberian organization denounces the figures put forward in the agreement between Paris and its prodigy player despite record loss of money. “These agreements threaten the economic viability of European football, putting hundreds of thousands of jobs and the integrity of the sport at risk in the medium term”argues La Liga, which speaks of a maneuver “scandalous”.
The threat of a complaint had already been brandished when Neymar’s clause was lifted by the capital club but had not materialized. “This type of conduct is a danger to European football at the same level as the SuperLeague”, concludes the press release which clearly names Nasser Al-Khelaïfi as guilty of these steps. The Spanish League hoped to see the French nugget join Real Madrid to shine its championship.
