La Défense Arena hosts the last stage and plans many activities

Last stage of the Tour de France for men this Sunday July 24th. It will start at La Défense Arena, in Nanterre in the Hauts-de-Seine before arriving on the Champs Elysées.

It’s a first for this venue to host the Tour. Nearly 10,000 spectators can attend the various events offered for the occasion free of charge.

On the program, from 12 p.m., many activities are planned. A dj set will welcome the spectators followed by the show of a tightrope walker on bicycle. This will also be the time for the department to present the Continental Cadets Junior and the Best Teammate.

From 2:30 p.m., the advertising caravan will parade. She will go around the room and distribute to the spectators many goodies and gifts from the partner brands of the Tour de France 2022. There will then be a unique show by La Clique du Tour.

From 3:10 p.m. will take place the presentation of the 22 men’s teams of the Tour on the giant stage in La Défense Arena. Their departure is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

The race will start from the lawn usually trodden by the players of Racing 92. The players will then pass through the famous business district of Paris La Défense and then go to the Yvelines before returning to the Hauts-de-Seine and returning to Paris to finish on the Champs-Elysées.

They are between 15 and 18 years old, eight cadets and juniors from the Hauts-de-Seine cycling clubs will open the road to the riders of the Tour de France this Sunday. They will travel with the professionals the first 30 and the last 30 kilometers of the 21st and last stage of the Tour de France 2022.
