Kunstmuseum Bern
The Museum of Fine Arts Bern is the oldest art museum in Switzerland with a permanent collection.
The works of Paul Klee, Pablo Picasso, Ferdinand Hodler and Meret Oppenheim have contributed to making the Museum of Fine Arts Bern an institution of international reputation.
The constantly evolving and changing collection currently includes more than 4,000 paintings and sculptures and nearly 45,000 drawings, engravings, photographs, films and videos.
It is therefore not only one of the largest and most diverse collections in Switzerland, but its large group of modern works of art from the beginning of the 20th century also gives it a value of international significance.
Alongside the presentation of the permanent collection, the Museum of Fine Arts Bern regularly offers themed exhibitions and major individual exhibitions.
