New Season of Koh Lanta: The Revenge of the 4 Lands
Shortly after the conclusion of *Koh Lanta, The Cursed Tribe*, fans can look forward to a fresh installment titled *Koh Lanta: The Revenge of the 4 Lands*. This exciting new season, hosted by the charismatic Denis Brogniart, takes the contestants to the stunning Philippines for the fourth consecutive year. As in 2020, the competition features 24 participants divided into four distinct regional tribes: North, South, East, and West. This memorable season also acknowledges the legacy of Bertrand Kamal, who tragically passed away at the young age of 31 due to cancer, while Alexandra emerged victorious.
Exciting Innovations and a Notable Contestant
This upcoming edition promises to introduce several fresh elements. Filming conditions posed significant challenges, prompting the addition of weather indicators to the broadcast for the very first time. Furthermore, following the reunification of tribes, viewers will be treated to a second segment of the evening featuring interviews with the eliminated participants. *Koh Lanta: The Revenge of the 4 Lands* premieres on Tuesday, February 25, on TF1, allowing audiences to meet the new adventurers, including one particularly intriguing contestant—the son of a former player.
Allan Rousseuw, who will compete in the North tribe, carries a notable legacy as the son of Marjorie, a former adventurer from season 17, which took place in Cambodia eight years ago. A docker by profession at the port of Dunkirk, Allan expressed pride in his family ties, stating, “*For me, it is a pride to belong to the great family of dockers because it is a very coveted position, it is a very closed environment.*” His connection to his mother is evident, as he aims to follow in her footsteps. Marjorie reached the reunification stage in her season, staying in the competition for an impressive 29 days.
Allan’s admiration for his mother is clear, and he is determined to make his mark in this season. He shared, “*I found my mother’s adventure incredible. She was strong. She wasn’t very athletic, yet she went very far, and I am very proud of her.*” With Marjorie passing the torch to him, saying, “*I had my adventure, now I pass the torch to you, shine as well my son,*” the question remains: will Allan achieve even greater heights than his mother did?
