Jesta Hillmann and Benedict Assadi
In 2016, they participated in Koh-Lanta, the treasure island. The couple had explained during a live with Denis Brogniart that, during filming, the idea of leaving hand in hand had not even crossed their minds. “There was nothing ambiguous. I was there to win, my brain was programmed, it was not necessary to disturb me. There was no seduction, nothing“, explained Benoît. Candice and Jérémy met in 2016 on the set of Koh-Lanta, Treasure Island. After having (very) long kept their secret budding romancethey confirmed having fallen for each other in December 2018. Since then, they have been inseparable, multiplying trips sometimes romantic, sometimes adventure, together.
In September 2019, the pretty blonde, who is about to launch her cryotherapy center, did not subtly make it clear that she was ready to take a step forward with Jérémy, that of marriage. Mathilde, candidate of Koh Lanta (2017), will have managed to keep the secret for a whole year. It was on April 6 that she finally revealed that she had found love again with Romain, an emblematic adventurer of the program, seen in the edition in Thailand in 2016.

Alex and Matthew

Yves participated in Koh Lanta in 2017, edition toured in Cambodia. Three years later, her life has completely changed. The adventurer separated from his wife Juliette to bounce back into the arms of… carine ! She also participated in the survival game, but it was in 2019 that she tried her luck, on the Fiji Islands. At first shy about their relationship, the lovers were content to post photos of their accomplice duo.

Afterwards, we exchanged, discussed. It happened naturally. We had what we call a big crush, love at first sight. Mathilde and Bastien
Mathilde and Bastien met in Koh Lanta Cambodia (2017), but got together once filming was over. Unfortunately, after only a few months, it was the break.
In 2018, Bastien revealed to us the reasons for their separation: “We had a very different outlook on life. Coming out of Koh Lanta – she was studying to be an English teacher – she yearned to be a teacher quickly, to have her little job, her 35 hours… It’s not a judgement, but it was a classic life , banal. Me, at that time, I was 23 years old. I was not planning to do TV, contrary to what was said (…), but I had just sold my pizzeria and I was more in a state of mind ‘we see what happens’ . I had a few pennies aside and I wanted to test things, to travel. And it wasn’t compatible with Mathilde’s desires.“
Roman and Lauren
Before getting together with Mathilde, Romain was also in a relationship with an adventurer of his season, Laureen. It was at the time of the grand finale of their 2016 promo that they had formalized after having long denied that they had fallen for each other. François-David and Emilie
During season 6 (2006), in Vanuatu, François-David and Émilie had a crush. But it was not until their season was over that they made their relationship official. Their story is unfortunately over today. On August 3, 2019, the one who became an actor married a pretty brunette, Lila Guennas.
Morgane and Benedict
They did not participate in the same show and yet! Benoît, candidate for the 2011 season, and Morgane, candidate in 2008, met several months after the broadcast of the program in which Benoît took part. They spoke for several months via a site reserved for former candidates of Koh Lanta. They ended up meeting and falling in love. The couple are now separated. According to the latest news, Benoît had found love again in the arms of Hélène, a candidate for The Island, alone in the world 2016 edition.
BONUS
Denis Brogniart has also found love thanks to the adventure game. The host first met his wife Hortense in the corridors of LCI. Seeing that they shared the same centers of interest, particularly around travel, Denis Brogniart offered to go with him on the set of Koh Lanta, because at the time, she was a journalist. She accepted the proposal and it is during the season Koh Lanta: Bocas del Toro (in 2003, in Panama) that their love story began secretly. Since, they do not leave each other.
Together, they then hosted twins, Violette and Lili (17 years old) and a third daughter, Blanche (16 years old). The 52-year-old host also has a son, Dimitri (22, born from a previous union).
