Russian President Vladimir Putin is reduced to “begging” for help from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, US diplomacy said on Monday, repeating that any arms sale between the two countries would trigger sanctions.

“Having to travel all over your country to meet an international outcast to ask for help in a war he hoped to win in a month, I would say is like begging,” said Matthew Miller, gatekeeper. -state department spokesman.
Kim Jong Un will make an “official visit” to Russia “in the coming days,” the Kremlin announced Monday.
“President Putin started this war against Ukraine, with his large-scale aggression, with the dream of restoring the greatness of the Russian Empire. This hope, this expectation, has failed,” he continued.
The spokesman said Vladimir Putin would be ‘begging’ during the talks, which are to be held in Vladivostok on Russia’s Pacific coast, on the heels of the G20 summit which the Russian president did not attend due to his “pariah” status.
“We have of course imposed sanctions against entities that finance the Russian war effort (…), and will not hesitate to reinforce them and to impose new sanctions”, warned Mr. Miller.
