Journalist Dorothée Olliéric is in duplex from Kiev (Ukraine), Tuesday March 8. She indicates that “the Ukrainians are ready to resist” and that “surrender is not an option for them”. Committed young Ukrainians told the journalist “that they were poorly trained, but that they were ready to join the front” and to “pass away” to defend their homeland.
On the other hand, “the fear is growing” in Kiev, as the encirclement becomes clearer. “The tanks are really at the gates of the city, and this is a promise of urban warfare, a promise of a lot of civilian casualties and destruction”, reports Dorothée Olliéric.
