Unfortunately, what seemed like a genius idea quickly turned into a nightmare for investors who eventually learned that it was a scam.
At the heart of dark accusations, the 32-year-old actor and comedian was forced to speak out on social networks. “I had to lend my voice to a potential cartoon and promote it. In other words: practice my profession. That’s all”he explained.

According to information from Mediapart, more than 700 people participated in this animation project. A colossal amount of 1.5 million euros was also embezzled in the context of this affair. This Tuesday, December 26, 2023, 19 of them therefore made the decision to file a complaint. “We have filed a complaint against both the promoters of the project and against the influencers and public figures who spoke on social networks to highlight the project”, notably indicated the plaintiffs’ lawyer, Maître Emma Leoty. The objective of this approach is naturally to obtain compensation and reimbursement, but it also tends to denounce the intensive promotion of the film, while calling into question the commitments of the public figures associated with it.
Fabien Tref, the instigator of this aborted project, stressed that there had never been any false promises, because he had not guaranteed returns, but had simply mentioned the possibility of making significant profits. .
