Keu Agirretxea already has a long artistic career behind him: a talented guitarist, he played in various and varied groups, Etsaiak, UEK, Governors, before going solo in 2008.
He writes many of his texts, and tells the life of here and elsewhere, that of simple people, with great sensitivity.
Ura eta Bakea: water and peace
It is also the title of his last album, released in 2009. In this song, Keu Agirretxea is about a young boy fleeing war and famine in Somalia and going to Djibouti, 1,500 kilometers away.
This young man only dreams of one thing: to be able to sleep in a sheltered place, eat bread, have water within reach, play and live in peace.
