Thunderclap: Simon Kean’s opponent, Newfel Ouatah, gave up the fight even before a punch was thrown on Friday at the Casino de Montreal.
Eye of the Tiger Management promoter Camille Estephan was in awe. In the ring and in the stands, it was total consternation.
The reasons for Ouatah’s abandonment are not known at this time.
