Kate and William go out with their arms full of cakes, with pins that do not go unnoticed

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continue to support Ukraine from the UK. On Wednesday March 9, 2022, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton made a new outing to visit the Ukrainian Cultural Center in London. The couple went to meet the many people mobilized to help the Ukrainians in their defensive war against Russia.

For this new visit, Kate Middleton has – once again – shown sartorial diplomacy. The 40-year-old Briton had indeed put on her blue Alexander McQueen cashmere sweater reminiscent of that of the flag of Ukraine. The Duchess even went so far as to hang a blue and yellow pin, with a heart, to clearly show her position. Same symbol on the side of her husband William, who wore the same accessory on his jacket. George’s parents, Charlotte and Louis (8, 6 and 3 years old) did not come empty-handed, as they brought with them homemade cakes to thank the volunteers for their efforts.

On February 26, two days after the start of the Russian attacks, Prince William and Kate Middleton expressed their support for the Ukrainians in a message posted on social networks: “In October 2020, we had the privilege of meeting with President Zelensky and the First Lady to discuss their hopes and optimism for the future of Ukraine.. Today, we stand with the President and all Ukrainians as they bravely fight for that future. W&C.“Message which had not failed to touch President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who had subsequently expressed his gratitude, between two bombardments.
