A year after the return of star Academy
on the first channel, production unveiled a new season of the program. The opportunity for viewers to meet thirteen new candidates: Axel, Candice, Clara, Djebril, Héléna, Lola, Louis, Margot, Marie-Maud, Pierre, Victorien, Lénie and
Julian. During the first prime, the Palois won the competition thanks to one of Johnny Hallyday’s most popular titles, I promise you.
In addition to his talent for singing, the 24-year-old young man touched fans of the show in the heart by evoking his childhood marked by the death of his father as well as his problems with diction in his portrait. “Singing saved my life“, he notably confided in front of the cameras.

“I ate once every three days”
Exit his adventure within the Château des Vives-Eaux in Dammarie-les-Lys, Julien continues the interviews. This Wednesday, February 7, 2024, it was on Alix Grousset’s sofa that he wanted to look back on his time on the show. The opportunity for him to talk about his projects, but also to discuss his particularly difficult past.
Before joining the cast of Star Academy 11Julien faced major financial difficulties. “There was a period when it was very difficult for me, because I didn’t have any money.” he explained. And to continue: “I will talk about it in my songs, because it is a period which marked me, but which allowed me to bounce back from phew (sic), but I no longer had an apartment (sic), I had no more money, I ate once every three daysreally, it was the D as they say.”
At the time, one of his friends reached out to him offering room and board. A moment that turned his life upside down. “He said to me: ‘Can we watch Star Ac?’, because it was the return of the program. We watched, I did it to please him and I I’m very attached to the program. I said to myself, ‘as a young artist, this is so good’.” Conquered, Julien therefore registered for the famous competition.
