This is the last big meeting before the Giro. The peloton sets off to attack Liège-Bastogne-Liège on Sunday 24 April, on the roads of Belgium, to conclude the Ardennes week. On the program, 257.5 hilly kilometers in the Belgian hinterland for the 225 starters. With a planed course of an ascent this year, and a flat arrival, the games seem more open than ever.
Among the big favourites, Julian Alaphilippe (Quick-Step AlphaVinyl) is looking for revenge, after having come close to victory in the last two editions. The Belgian Wout Van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) is also particularly expected, for his first Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Dylan Teuns (Bahrain-Victorious), who won on Flèche Wallonne in the middle of the week, is also to be watched. Follow the race live with commentary, or on france.tv.
