In less than a month will be celebrated the fifth anniversary of the death of Johnny Hallyday. It is for this reason that M6 will offer the documentary Johnny by Laeticia, directed by William Karel from personal archives held by Laeticia, which will be broadcast on December 8. The latter was able to access 700 hours of rushes, shot with camcorder or smartphone.
In a press release from the channel, the former model explained: “I had got into the habit with Johnny of filming moments of life. First with a camcorder, then with our phones. Almost two years ago, I started thinking about a documentary on Johnny that would allow the audience to discover my husband. We were trying to imagine what this film could be like, which was supposed to be unlike any other. When I spoke of these family and personal videos that I had captured and archived for more than 20 years, it became obvious. And that’s how the project was born”.
Jade and Joy’s mother will also confide in the rocker’s infidelities that occurred at the time of Jade’s adoption. “I forgot myself as a woman. What Johnny couldn’t standas she told our colleagues atParis here. This created differences and then adventures elsewhere. In twenty-three years, there have been ups and downs… Very complicated times. And that’s what we both experienced. We broke up, we got back together“, she continued. “If I had to do it again, I would do the same thing“, she let go.
