Tekori: “Unique Emotions”
Joe Tekori announced the news on his Instagram account this Friday, a few hours before the match against Stade Français at the Stadium: “2007 changed my life, the year of my arrival in France. This sport allowed me to experience unique emotions. From the Siva Tau of my national team to the three Shields of Brennus, to the Barbarians, to the European Cup … A page will turn for me at the end of the season, but a new life will open up with my family without crampons or pitches.”
A huge career
Joe Tekori will have played six seasons at Castres Olympique before spending nine seasons at Stade Toulousain. The Samoan has lifted three Brennus shields with these two clubs and has played over 400 professional matches throughout his career. He also won the Champions Cup last year with Toulouse.
