US President Joe Biden tested negative for COVID-19 on Saturday, the White House announced.

The septuagenarian leader remains in isolation pending a second negative test, said his doctor, Kevin O’Connor. “The president continues to feel very well,” he said in a letter.

Tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time on July 21, Joe Biden had tested negative, then suffered a “rebound” of positivity on July 30.

Isolated in the White House for a week, the president should resume his travels soon. According to his official agenda, he must go to the American state of Kentucky, victim of devastating floods.
