(Winnipeg) Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers’ name has been included in the National Hockey League’s COVID-19 protocol.
The team made the announcement on Monday.
His name has been added to those of forward Jansen Harkins, defenseman Dylan DeMelo, goalkeeper Arvid Holm and video coach Matt Prefontaine, whose names were entered in protocol last week.
The 25-year-old Ehlers is third among the Jets with 25 points, including 13 goals, in 33 games.
The Jets (16-12-5) occupy the fifth echelon of the Central section. On Thursday, they are due to visit the Detroit Red Wings.
